The Eden Visitor Information Centre (EVIC) is operated by incorporated non-profit association Eden Tourism Inc., who also oversee Cruise Eden.
The award-winning visitor centre is open 7 days a week, 363 days a year with an information counter staffed mainly by passionate local volunteers.
Showcasing local products and produce, offering a range of maps and information, and sharing local tips and secrets, the centre aims to provide exceptional service to all visitors to Eden and the Sapphire Coast.
The Eden Visitor Information Centre also works behind the scenes to market Eden and increase visitation through its Visit Eden website and social media channels, produces Eden’s town maps and official visitor guides, is involved in the organising and hosting of various events throughout the year, and obtains grants to better Eden’s infrastructure and facilities for the benefit of visitors and the community.
The centre is largely self-funded achieving success with retail sales and various other revenue streams, but also receives funding from the Bega Valley Shire Council, and has a large loyal membership base of 120+ local business. Management works hard to support and promote local businesses through its membership system and welcomes new members onboard to be a part of the Eden tourism family.
