The Eden Visitor Information Centre is delighted to offer a range of boutique local tours for those passengers visiting Eden for the 2023-2024 cruise season. Our tours are thoughtfully curated to provide a variety of options to experience Eden and its surrounds, whether it be exploring the area by an exhilarating trike tour or getting back to nature with a guided birdwatching walk, we have something to suit everyone. Each of the tours are run by experienced local guides and are designed to fit in with the scheduled arrival and departure times of each cruise ship visit.

NAVIGATE EXPEDITIONS

This award-winning local business offers small group, guided tours for the environmentally conscious traveller, with options specially designed for cruise ship passengers to maximize their time in beautiful Eden. Choose from a 2-hour Highlights tour showcasing lookouts, beaches, and the Pinnacles; a 5-hour tour including lunch, visits to Boyds Tower and Davidson Whaling Station, plus the Highlights locations; or a 2.5-hour guided E-bike tour around Lake Curalo and Aslings Beach, highlighting diverse ecology and birdlife. All tours are thoughtfully planned to allow ample time for further exploration of Eden township.

GREAT SOUTHERN TRIKES

This local family run business provides an exhilarating and unique way to take in the sites of Eden on their 2020 Boom Mustang Trike.

The trike can seat two people comfortably on raised seating behind the driver and you can enjoy a 20 minute tour for $70 or a 30 minute tour for $85 (prices are per tour, up to two passengers).

EDEN SPORTS & RECREATION CLUB

Eden’s local club offers a variety of speciality activities just for cruise passengers including Barefoot Bowls (minimum 4 players, includes all equipment) and 9 Holes of Golf (minimum 2 players, includes shared cart and clubs) as well as their famous Kangaroo Tours (minimum 6 people) to get up close and personal with the resident kangaroos that call the property home. All three options include transfers to and from the club.

POTOROO PALACE

Visit the Sapphire Coast’s animal wildlife sanctuary to admire Australia’s most iconic animals including koalas, kangaroos, potoroos, dingoes, native birds, snakes, wombats and more. The sanctuary is located a short 30 minute trip from the Port of Eden and you’ll be transferred there by airconditioned mini-van, these tours are approximately 2.5-3 hours in duration and cost $95p/p (Animal Encounters available at extra cost and must be booked direct with the park).

SAPPHIRE NATURE TOURS

Internationally award winning photographer Sam Nerrie is your experienced local guide for this tour which is perfect for those wanting to experience a fun day out visiting picturesque beaches and forests including photographic opportunities spotting local wildlife. Including morning tea by the beach and a local oyster tasting. This is a full day tour (6 hours) and is priced at $170p/p. Tour can be adapted and shortened to meet your needs.

LONGSTOCKING BREWERY TOUR

Experience Pambula’s finest with a flight of fresh local craft beers (and cider), fresh Broadwater oysters (or woodfired pizza), all while relaxing in their beautiful venue. You will be picked up in their luxury minivan and whisked away to Longstocking Brewery in Pambula so you can experience the delights on offer. The tour includes return transfers in luxury minivan, large flight of 10 craft beers and cider, half a dozen fresh Broadwater oysters with your choice of toppings (or your choice from 6 different types of woodfired pizza), BeerEducation Session with certified beer server, and a brief brewery tour. The tour will take approximately 3 hours and is $195 per person (min. 4).

YANDAMA ON COUNTRY – INDIGENOUS CULTURAL TOUR AROUND TWOFOLD BAY

We welcome you to join us for a gentle, immersive walk and talk around the picturesque Twofold Bay with your knowledgeable local indigenous tour guide. Learn about the rich cultural history of the local and surrounding areas. Take part in an intimate smoking ceremony to welcome you onto country, learn about the local ecologies, traditional foods and medicines, cultural land management and native flora and fauna. 1.8km walking track, steps included, kid friendly. Prices vary depending on length of experience, transfers included.
