WELCOME
The Eden Visitor Information Centre is an award winning visitor centre housed within the iconic Eden Welcome Centre building at Snug Cove. A visit to Eden isn’t complete without dropping by the centre to learn all that Eden has to offer, as well as the stunning Sapphire Coast and surrounding areas.
OUR TEAM
Our centre is staffed by a team of very knowledgeable volunteers, overseen by Centre Manager Clair Mudaliar and supported by Supervisor Jody White. The volunteers staff the information counter 7 days a week, 363 days a year and many of them are proud to have volunteered at the centre for ten years or more. They are all Eden locals who are passionate about the town and surrounds and look forward to sharing their tips and recommendations with visitors.
OUR GIFT SHOP
The centre is home to an impressive little gift shop, showcasing locally made wares including puzzles, jewellery, candles, pottery, art, souvenirs and produce. Peruse the range of books (including children’s books) that are by local authors or tell the stories of Eden’s fascinating heritage and history.

TINY ZOO
The centre boasts an Australian-first, offering intimate wildlife experiences with Tiny Zoo within the visitor centre itself. Tiny Zoo is a local Sapphire Coast family run business providing educational experiences with native australian wildlife with their qualified zoo keepers and ecologists. Learn about the amazing diversity of the Sapphire Coast every day, all year round by visiting the Tiny Zoo display, and check out which days the VIP Wildlife Encounters are available (and book) online here.
NSW TOURISM STAR AWARD
Staff and volunteers of the Eden Visitor Information Centre were thrilled to discover they’d won the Tourism Star Award in the virtual NSW Tourism Awards night on February 3 2022.
This new accolade was added to the awards list to acknowledge “tremendous resilience and innovation during a period of immense challenges”, and winners were selected from the large list of finalists from all categories.
