Sarah Davidson’s Recipes

Description

In May 1890, local girl, Sarah Galli, married George Davidson, second generation Twofold Bay whaler.  Together they had eight children and lived self-sufficiently at Loch Garra located across the bay from Eden. This souvenir collection of recipes are taken from the cookery book used by Mrs Sarah Davidson, who had the responsibility of feeding her large family, and often a hungry whaleboat crew. 

Produced by the Friends of Davidson Whaling Station, sales of this souvenir helps to continue their preservation work at the station.
