Holiday Time
Well you have been locked up for a few months now and looking for somewhere to go and have a break from home, well why now escape to Eden – we would love to see you here. We don’t have large crowds, traffic lights and our beaches are pristine, clean and you can often wander along them and have the whole beach to yourself. But if you are looking at a break / holiday, now is the time to book your accommodation. After talking to many of our accommodation providers they are telling me that they are filling up fast. Both Motel and Caravan Parks are reporting that their bookings are filling up and they are all looking forward to a busy 3 weeks of both VIC and NSW school holidays.
So if you are looking to escape for a few days, take advantage of our beautiful piece of the coast. We have plenty to keep you occupied and we have been having some amazing weather, beautiful sunny days, cool nights. Take a fishing charter trip, bring your boat or bring your rod and try to catch the big one off the beach or wharf, stroll along the unspoilt beaches in and around Eden, visit the museum or Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre, some great walks in and around town. Try an organised dive or snorkel tour, see the sights from the back of a Trike motorcycle, just some of the things to do and see in Eden. Don’t forget to try some of the mouth watering fresh seafood that is on offer while you are here too.
Whale watching season will be here soon, with the Whales starting to head south and we should be seeing them in August through to very early November. From all reports this will be a big whale watching season with whale sightings on the increase.
