The EAT Festival is held annually over the Victorian and ACT March long weekend.
Its a weekend dedicated to showcasing the amazing produce of the Sapphire Coast, and it’s main event is usually a food fair on the Fishpen in Merimbula on the Sunday.
Due to covid-19, Eat is serving up a little differently in 2021 with a delicious road trip instead – featuring the best of our local chefs, local producers and local produce.
Eden has an awesome line up including the following……
Sunset Seafood Cruise on Cat Balou: Enjoy a stunning Twofold Bay sunset cruise with a drink on arrival, and food by local cafe Rusty Plough including Eden Smokehouse and Disaster Bay Chilli products. Kel and Caroline Henry from Wonboyn Rock Oysters will also be aboard shucking up some goodness with their amazing oysters served three ways. Friday 5th March from 6pm-8pm. Find out more, view the menu, and book online here.
Ollie Masons Cafe & Wine Bar: Dine in on a special three course menu featuring local produce, or order an Explore Eden picnic bag of the freshest local seafood to take on your adventure (available 5th – 8th March). Call 0490240288 to book.
Sprout Cafe: A signature Eat on Tour dish will be on the menu for the entire Eat Weekend (5th – 8th March), a Salmon Gravlax Bruschetta featuring Eden Smokehouse Atlantic Salmon.
