**DUE TO COVID-19 – ALL CAMPING AND ACCOMMODATION AT BOTH NATIONAL PARKS AND STATE FORESTS HAS BEEN CLOSED**

The southern and western parts of the Sapphire Coast were greatly impacted by the Fires in January. This has caused a great deal of damage to some of the popular visiting spots around Eden. National Parks and State Forests have been working hard to get these places open again.

Ben Boyd National Park – Green Cape Lighthouse, Bittangabee and Saltwater have been reopened to the public for both day visits and accommodation. However, the Light to Light walking track that takes you from Boyd’s tower in the north south to Green Cape Lighthouse will be closed until around September / October this year. The northern part of Park was not impacted by the fires and all parts of the park are open for day visits.

State Forests – The forests were greatly impacted as well. Some NSW Forest areas remain closed for camping and day use until further notice. Phone : 1300 880 548 to check which forestry areas are open for day use or camping.
